Oregano essential oil has long been known for its palatable effect, which, among other things, increases roughage intake. However, oregano essential oil is also known for additional effects such as stimulating rumination activity, increasing milk yield and milk constituents by positively influencing the rumen flora, among other things.
With the new formulation of DOSTO® Ruminant bi-active, the innovative combination of rumen-stable oregano oil and rumen-available oregano oil has now extended the spectrum of effects: significant positive effects on metabolic disorders, udder health and somatic cells have been demonstrated in science and practice.
